Finalmente qualcuno ha pensato di rilanciare, in un film di animazione 3D, un personaggio nato nel 1952 dalla mente di Tezuka Osamu (padre del fumetto giapponese) ASTROBOY. "Ambientato nella futuristica città di Metro City, Astro Boy è un giovane robot dagli incredibili poteri creato da un brillante scienziato, modellato sull'immagine del figlio che ha perso"(1).
E' un character che fa parte dei ricordi della mia infanzia, non era uno dei miei preferiti, ma aveva il suo fascino per il suo stile semplice e per la sua storia che vedeva protagonista proprio un bimbo robot. Con questo film ne approfitterò per riscoprirlo, magari guardando qualche video su youtube o qualche immagine sul web. Inoltre ricordo che un paio di anni fa avevo letto su una rivista di fumetti che era uscito in Giappone un francobollo su questo character.
Comunque, dovremo aspettare fino al 23 ottobre 2009, sarà dura, ma ce la faremo...intanto godiamoci il trailer.^^
